David Lockley

David Lockley has extensive work experience in the field of toxicology and regulatory defense. David currently serves as the Toxicology and Regulatory Defense Director at Venator Materials Plc, where they are responsible for global product environmental health and safety. Prior to this role, they held the position of Product Defense and Toxicology Manager at the same company.

In addition to their role at Venator Materials Plc, Lockley also has experience as the Chair of the Titanium Dioxide Reach Consortium and Scientific Task Force at ReachCentrum. David Lockley has an extensive education history in the field of toxicology. David started their education at Alleynes High School in Stone, Staffs, where they obtained 6 GCSEs and 3 A levels.

In 1991, they enrolled at the University of Sunderland for their undergraduate studies and graduated in 1995 with a BSc (Class 2:1) in Biomedical Sciences. During their undergraduate years, they completed a sandwich year at GSK, which provided him with practical experience in the field.

Following their undergraduate studies, David pursued a Master's degree at the University of Birmingham in Toxicology, which they completed in 1996. David then went on to pursue a PhD in Biochemical Toxicology at Newcastle University from 1996 to 2000.

After completing their doctoral studies, David joined the University of Dundee for a Post Doc in Molecular Toxicology from 2000 to 2003. Subsequently, in 2008, they gained a Postgraduate Certificate in REACH Management from the University of Hull.

David's education also includes professional certifications. In 2008, they became a Eurotox Registered Toxicologist after completing the Eurotox program specialized in Toxicology.
