Mohd Effendi Abd Rahman

Mohd Effendi Abd Rahman has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and positions. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer (Internship) at Kertih Terminals Sdn Bhd, where they were responsible for preparing maintenance schedules and overseeing project implementation. Following this, they worked as a Senior Lecturer at Politeknik Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin from 2004 to 2011, teaching Mechanical Engineering subjects. Mohd Effendi then joined PETRONAS in 2011 as a Mechanical Drafter, where they developed design drawings and specifications using CAD equipment. In 2012, they became a Senior Project Engineer at Integrated MIE Sdn Bhd and was responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Project Manager at HVAC Experts (M) Sdn Bhd, where they handled tender preparation, project costing, and design. In 2018, they joined Zabsi Industrial Ventilation Sdn Bhd as a Project Manager, focusing on project planning and coordination. Currently, since 2019, they are working as a Sr. Maintenance Engineer at Venator Materials Plc, overseeing engineering and project activities. Mohd Effendi Abd Rahman has experience in various aspects of engineering, including project management, maintenance, drafting, and teaching.

Mohd Effendi Abd Rahman has an extensive education history focused on mechanical engineering. Mohd Effendi obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaysia Pahang between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia from 1999 to 2004.

In their earlier education, Mohd Effendi attended SM. Teknik Sultan Ahmad Shah from 1997 to 1998 where they obtained a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) in Mechanical Engineering Studies. Additionally, they pursued a Diploma of Education in Mechanical Engineering at Maktab Perguruan Teknik Kuala Lumpur from 2007 to 2008.

Furthermore, Mohd Effendi has acquired several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Mohd Effendi obtained the Graduate Engineer certification from the Board of Engineers Malaysia in June 2015. In the same year, they also received the Internal Auditor ISO9001:2008 certification from SIRIM Berhad. Additionally, they have certifications in TIG Welding On Stainless Steel and Volleyball Coach Level 1, although the details of their institution and the dates of acquisition are not available.
