Senior Manager - Global Supply Chain Procurement & Logistics Operations at Venator

Trevor Cairns has a comprehensive work experience in supply chain, procurement, and logistics spanning over several companies. Trevor currently holds a role as a Senior Manager - Global Supply Chain & Logistics at Venator Materials Plc, where they are responsible for the development of the supply chain operations and commercial team, procurement and logistics strategy, and commercial contract activities. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager - Global Procurement (Packaging & Logistics) at the same company and as a Purchasing Manager - EMEA Procurement & Supply Chain.

Before joining Venator Materials Plc, Cairns served as a Supply Chain Contracts Manager at Huntsman Corporation. Trevor also gained extensive experience at Komatsu Europe, where they worked as a Senior Manager - Purchasing and was responsible for direct material procurement, new model introduction, and annual business planning cost reduction activities, among others.

Earlier in their career, Cairns held the role of Managing Director at LINCOLN CASTINGS LIMITED, where they were responsible for setting and achieving strategic sales and operational plans, as well as leading the site leadership team. Trevor also worked at ZF Group (formerly TRW Automotive Ltd) as a Plant Operations Manager, overseeing multiple manufacturing facilities and being accountable for their financial performance.

Cairns began their career at ZF Group (formerly TRW Automotive Limited) as a Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in supply chain management, procurement, and leadership roles in various industries and companies.

Trevor Cairns has a diverse education history starting in 1977 when they attended Brinkburn Comprehensive in Hartlepool. After completing their high school education in 1982, they proceeded to enroll at Hartlepool College of Further Education from 1985 to 1988. During their time there, they focused on business and finance studies. Following that, Trevor pursued higher education from 1993 to 1997 at Darlington Business School and Durham University Business School, where they earned a degree in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply). Their degree encompassed a range of subjects including business, finance, and supply chain management.
