Job Description

The mission of the Billing Analyst is to ensure seamless, accurate, and timely billing operations while providing critical insights that enhance business decisions. As a Billing Analyst, you will maintain data integrity across Zuora and Salesforce platforms, optimize billing workflows, and support the company’s financial processes through in-depth analysis and reporting. By driving efficiencies and improving cross-functional collaboration, you will contribute to the financial health and growth of the organization, delivering value both internally and to our customers.

The Impact You’ll Have

Zuora Billing Administration

• Manage and oversee Zuora billing operations, including subscription setup, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
• Ensure billing data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies related to invoicing, payments, or subscription processes.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align Zuora billing with financial reporting and reconciliation efforts.

Salesforce Integration and Support 

• Administer the Salesforce CRM system, managing user access, security settings, and system customization.
• Ensure seamless integration between Zuora and Salesforce to maintain accurate customer and billing data.
• Provide training and support to Salesforce users, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimized use of system functionalities.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Utilize Zuora and Salesforce data to generate reports and dashboards related to key billing metrics, customer trends, and revenue data.
• Analyze subscription data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Present data-driven insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

Process Improvement and Documentation

• Identify inefficiencies within billing workflows and propose solutions to streamline processes.
• Document billing processes, system configurations, and best practices to create a detailed knowledge base for the team.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with the Finance, Sales Operations, and Customer Support teams to ensure accurate billing processes and data integrity.

• Participate in special projects, including system upgrades, billing enhancements, and new feature implementations.

The Value You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in managing Zuora for subscription billing and Salesforce CRM administration.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex billing data and provide meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate across departments.
• Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred but not required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounts, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
