Linas Laucys

Linas Laucys is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user interface and user experience design, currently serving as Principal Designer at Vendavo since 2015, where contributions include leading UI design during a significant company transition and developing a modern design language. Prior to Vendavo, Linas held the position of Chief Designer at Blackboard from 2013 to 2015, focusing on the development of the Bb Learn platform and achieving a responsive UI through modular components. Linas also played a pivotal role at Blackboard from 2001 to 2012, establishing design direction across the product portfolio and modernizing user interfaces through the implementation of CSS frameworks. Early career experience includes designing user interfaces for retail websites at Centrical Inc. Linas holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design and Visual Communications from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and Vilniaus dailės akademija.
