Chibundo Ubachukwu

Chibundo Ubachukwu has a strong background in operations, business development, and procurement. They most recently served as the Vice President of Operations at Vendease (YC W21) starting in February 2023. Before that, Chibundo was the Head of Commercial at Sabi, a technology platform for underserved merchants, from December 2021 to January 2023. They also worked at Omnibiz Africa as the Head of Business Development from October to December 2021, and at Megachem Nigeria as the Operations Director from August 2020 to September 2021. From 2018 to 2020, Chibundo held multiple roles at mPharma, including Procurement Manager, Head of Supply Chain, and Procurement Lead. Prior to that, Chibundo worked at HealthPlus Limited as the Group Procurement Manager, Procurement Manager, Procurement Analyst, and Senior Associate from 2013 to 2018. They began their career as a Medical Sales Representative at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson from April 2011 to April 2013.

Chibundo Ubachukwu has a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, completed between 2002 and 2008. They also hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the University of Lagos, completed from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, Chibundo obtained a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and Materials Management from the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management in 2016. They have a Diploma in Procurement/Supply Chain Management from CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, obtained in 2018. Chibundo has also received two certifications: PMP from the Project Management Institute in 2015, and Agile Product Management and Product Design from Utiva in 2020.
