Chad Ballantyne has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Chad began their career in 2000 as a Creative Communications Pastor at Seneca Creek Community Church, where they oversaw arts, media, and communications. In 2003, they co-founded CREATIVE PARADOX and served as a Pastor. In 2006, they founded Rhubarb Media Inc., where they worked as a Creative Director, helping clients build brands and tell their stories. Chad also worked as a Creative Director at Pastor Pixel, a role they held from 2006 onwards.
In 2008, Chad became the Director of The Creative Space, a position they held until 2022. Chad joined Alias Project in 2020 as a Marketing Manager and was responsible for managing marketing initiatives. In the same year, they co-founded Canopy Coworking, a company they currently serve as a Co-Founder.
Chad's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Vendible in 2018, a comprehensive commerce solution that brings businesses and consumers together through community marketplaces. Chad also provided innovative solutions to bridge traditional financial services and decentralized monetary systems.
In 2022, Chad joined Tiny Town Association as the Director of Partnerships & Media Relations. Additionally, they worked at PIVX | Private Instant Verified Transaction as a Brand Builder and Creative Marketing Support from 2016 to 2020.
Throughout their career, Chad has demonstrated expertise in storytelling, brand building, marketing, and creative direction.
Chad Ballantyne obtained a Bachelor of Religious Education degree in Family Studies from Briercrest College and Seminary between 1993 and 1995. Chad then went on to pursue a Masters Degree in Youth and Family from the same institution, completing it in 1996.
