Vivek Furtado

Vivek Furtado has extensive experience in the engineering and automation sectors, currently serving as the Head of Battery Vertical for Siemens in the US since January 2017. In this role, Vivek leads a team focused on business development and technical account management within the battery industry. Previously, Vivek held various leadership positions at Siemens, including Director of Machine Tool Digitalization Software, where responsibilities included developing strategies for digitalization business growth across the Americas and collaborating with global teams. Additionally, Vivek was the Country Manager for Aerospace Vertical, improving sales performance globally, and held roles in corporate account management, product management, and business development within the glass sector in Japan. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and a Dipl. Ing. in Production Engineering from Hochschule Esslingen. Vivek also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Vendorship since February 2021.
