Zac Sheffer

Zac Sheffer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Zac started their career in 2009 as a Research Technician at Conservation and Research for Endangered Species, focusing on multimedia projects related to biology and microbiology. In 2010, they joined APC by Schneider Electric as a Cooling Solutions Junior Engineer, where they researched and developed methods for data center design.

In 2011, Zac worked as a Junior Systems Engineer at Abbott On Call, Inc, supporting the development of interface Open System Architecture for the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship program. Zac also proposed and created an in-house iPad app to streamline data input and output. Later that year, they returned to APC by Schneider Electric as a Cooling Solutions Engineer, working on more efficient design methods.

Zac joined Credit Suisse in 2012 as part of the Model Development team, where they performed macro-based quantitative research using various tools and languages. In the same year, they also worked as a Cooling Solutions Engineer at APC by Schneider Electric, focusing on designing and testing solutions for perforated tile estimations.

From 2013 to 2021, Zac founded and held leadership positions at Elsen Inc., a Platform-as-a-Service company for financial institutions. Zac served as the CEO and Founder, leading the company in providing data analysis solutions for complex problems. Zac later transitioned to the role of COO before leaving the company in 2021 .

In 2021, Zac joined Geode Capital Management as the Head of Architecture & Engineering, overseeing application development and future state planning. Zac managed the Product + Engineering teams and collaborated closely with business teams and senior leadership to transform technology.

Most recently, in 2022, Zac joined Vendr as the VP of Data Product & Insight, where they continue to leverage their expertise in data analytics and product development.

Zac Sheffer earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, where they attended from 2009 to 2013.
