Lashonda Matthews, PMP, CSM

Lashonda Matthews is a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in information technology. Lashonda has worked for multiple companies including Venesco, LLC, Technik, Inc, Pro-Sphere Tek, Inc. (ProSphere), and IBA (Irving Burton Associates).

At Venesco, LLC, Lashonda led five distributed Scrum teams while managing multiple high-profile and complex projects covering software development, web development, mobile development, data migration, enterprise implementation, and IT infrastructure. Lashonda managed a cross-functional team of 30 members and successfully delivered projects on time and within budget.

At Technik, Inc, Lashonda provided project management, business analyst, and technical support for the development of a Document Management System and Communications Portal.

During their time at Pro-Sphere Tek, Inc., Lashonda managed the FileMan 23 Enterprise Infrastructure contract and a budget of $12M. Lashonda also led seven distributed Scrum teams to enhance the Veterans Benefits Management System-Rating (VBMS-R) web-based application, successfully deploying six software development releases.

At IBA (Irving Burton Associates), Lashonda managed agile projects and inspired cross-functional, self-organizing teams. Lashonda also managed multiple IT development projects simultaneously, worth approximately $60 million in acquisition contracts.

Throughout their career, Lashonda has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully managing complex projects and delivering results within budget constraints. Lashonda is experienced in various aspects of project management, including resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, and training.

Lashonda Matthews, PMP, CSM, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Acquisition and Contracts from Strayer University. Lashonda attended Strayer University from 2010 to 2016. In addition to their degree, they obtained the certifications of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in July 2012, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in June 2009.
