Dmitrii Malyshev

Dmitrii Malyshev has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technical support. Dmitrii started their career as a System Administrator at MTE Telecom in 2011, where they were responsible for equipment selection, LAN administration, and user support. Dmitrii then progressed to become the Head of Information Security and Technical Support Department at MTE Telecom, where they managed the IT department, oversaw server equipment support, and ensured the enterprise's information security.

In 2012, Malyshev joined the branch of ZAO "MMVB-IT" in Nizhny Novgorod as a Senior Technical Support Engineer. In this role, they monitored and supported server equipment, conducted activities related to information security, and developed mechanisms for DDoS protection. Dmitrii also implemented additional monitoring and network protection systems.

Malyshev's role as the Deputy Head of the Information Security Department at OOO Seldon2 followed in 2014. At this company, they were responsible for assisting with information security operations.

In 2016, Malyshev worked as an Information Security Consultant at Madcrush Labs. Here, they worked on various security-related tasks such as antivirus software, penetration testing, certification, development of information security policies, and monitoring information security incidents. Dmitrii also implemented information security integration projects for clients.

Malyshev then joined OS33 in 2017 as the Head of the Information Security team. OS33 was a leading secure workspace solution provider for security and compliance-driven companies. In this role, they provided leadership for the information security team and contributed to the development of the turnkey platform.

Dmitrii'smost recent role is the Director of the Security Department at Venn Software, which they started in 2019. Venn is a technology company that specializes in secure remote work solutions. As the Director, Malyshev is responsible for overseeing the security department and ensuring the protection of remote work environments on unmanaged or BYOD computers.

Throughout their career, Malyshev has gained expertise in various areas of information security, including infrastructure monitoring, penetration testing, development of security policies, project management, and implementation of security solutions.

Dmitrii Malyshev attended the State University of Nizhni Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky (UNN) from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Information systems and technologies.

In addition to their formal education, Dmitrii has obtained several certifications. In September 2022, they completed the Cyber Defense Learning Path and Red Teaming Learning Path offered by TryHackMe. In August 2022, they obtained the certification for Attacking Windows Active Directory (Throwback) from TryHackMe. In April 2022, Dmitrii completed the Jr Penetration Tester path by TryHackMe.

In September 2021, Dmitrii achieved the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security. Dmitrii also completed the Web Fundamentals Learning Path, Pre Security Learning Path, CompTIA Pentest+ Learning Path, and Complete Beginner Learning Path, all offered by TryHackMe, in September, July, April, and April 2021 respectively.

Furthermore, Dmitrii completed the Offensive Pentesting Learning Path by TryHackMe in February 2021.
