Paul Clarke has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Paul began their career as a Software Engineer at IBM in 1988 and worked in various roles within the company. These roles include Technical Consultant, Senior Software Engineer, Senior Managing Consultant, Senior Software Performance Analyst, and Senior Software Architect. During their time at IBM, Paul was involved in the development and architecture of the IBM SDK for Linux on Power. Paul also provided consulting services for both internal and external customers, with a focus on systems using IBM Power processors running Linux. In 2023, Paul joined Ventana Micro Systems as a Software Performance Lead.
Paul Clarke earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1990 to 1992. In addition, Paul obtained a certification called "IBM Volunteers - Silver" from IBM in March 2018.
