Corinne Puchalla, PharmD, BCPS, currently serves as the Director of Prior Authorizations and Pharmacy Benefits Coordination Services at Ventegra since August 2021, where oversight and management support for these services are provided. With extensive experience as a clinical pharmacist, Corinne has focused on optimizing medication use, improving patient care, and developing medication policies based on clinical guidelines. Previous roles include serving as an Academic Detailer for Illinois ADVANCE, where engagement with prescribers enhanced prescribing practices, and as a Clinical Pharmacist/Clinical Instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, addressing prior authorization requests for Illinois Medicaid patients. Corinne's career began in the pharmaceutical field as a Student Pharmacist at Walgreens and as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, building a solid foundation in patient counseling and pharmacy operations. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois Chicago, alongside degrees in Music Performance from Indiana University Bloomington and the University of Iowa.
