Mahdi Abolfazli Esfahani

Mahdi Abolfazli Esfahani serves as the Principal Scientist and Head of the Localization and Mapping Team at Venti Technologies since January 2021, with roles involving collaboration with esteemed professors at MIT. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Nanyang Technological University, where contributions were made to signal identification for Singapore Mass Rapid Transit, and serving as a PhD Candidate and Head of the Student's Executive Committee. Mahdi has also held positions as Interim CTO at OcularAI Inc., overseeing projects in stock market prediction and human pose estimation. Previous academic roles at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad include leading the Nexus Simulation and Modeling Lab, lecturing on various subjects, and participating in technical committees for robotics competitions. Mahdi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and both a Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence & Robotics and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
