Matthew Booker has a diverse range of work experience, starting with an upcoming role as a Planning Research Scientist at Venti Technologies in 2023. Previously, they worked at ModalAI as a Robotics Autonomy Intern, where they redesigned the planning stack for quadcopters and optimized the 3D volumetric mapping system. Matthew Booker completed their education in a chronological order. Matthew obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended UWC South East Asia from 2001 to 2015, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate program. During this time, their higher-level studies focused on Computer Science, Physics, and Math, while their standard-level studies included English Language and Literature, Geography, and Mandarin. Currently, Matthew is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Robotic Systems Development at Carnegie Mellon University, which they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.
