Main Function & Scope

  • Take a leading role in the preparation phase of divestments, including setting up data rooms, coordinating Q&A, drafting of marketing materials and aligning valuation analysis with the internal team;

  • Collaborate closely with business development teams, internal functional experts (e.g., legal, accounting, tax, technical, etc.) and coordinating external advisors to support execution

  • Lead specific workstreams (and potentially transactions) during execution phase and support in the negotiation of transaction documentation

  • Preparation of materials for obtaining senior management, Board and shareholder approvals;

  • Monitor the market, build and maintain a network with industry professionals and advisors.

Key Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a transactional role, either M&A or debt financing, ideally in the renewables sector, acquired in a bank, an investment fund, one of the Big 4 advisory teams or a corporate;
  • Analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills, orientation to efficiency and attention to detail;
  • Have a 'hands-on' and proactive approach, showing creativity and curiosity, with strong interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external parties;
  • Team player open to work flexibility but primarily in an office environment
  • Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities and projects.
  • Fluent in English and able to work with international colleagues and counterparties. Other European languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese) are a plus but not a requirement.

Location : this role can be based in any of our main offices (London, Edinburgh, Madrid, Lisbon or Milan).
