John Morris

John Morris has over 15 years of work experience in the energy industry. John currently holds the position of Head of Asset Management - UK at Ventient Energy. Prior to this, they worked at ScottishPower as a Senior Area Manager and later as an Area Manager in Wind Farm Operations. John also worked as a UK Asset Manager at GREENSOLVER and as a Managing Director at Bidworks Ltd. John has experience in renewable energy, having served as a Wind Farm site supervisor at Scottish Power Renewables. John began their career as an Authorized Technician at Vestas, specializing in wind turbine maintenance and servicing. Before entering the energy sector, John worked as a 3rd Engineering Officer at BP, where they were responsible for the maintenance and overhaul of main engines and boilers on oil tankers. Overall, John has a diverse background in energy operations, management, and engineering.

John Morris completed their education at the Glasgow College of Nautical Studies from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a HND in Mechanical Engineering.
