Jana Ghalayini

Jana Ghalayini has a diverse work experience. Jana was a lead product line manager at Vention, a tech start-up based in Montreal, where they managed product lines related to manufacturing automation. Jana worked at Vention from May 2022 to December 2023. Prior to Vention, they were the head of product management at Ubicquia, Inc from May 2021 to April 2022, where they played a key role in acquiring GE's Intelligent Cities team and product. Jana also had a role as a product manager at Ubicquia from May 2020 to April 2021, focusing on smart cities. At GE, Jana was a technical product manager for the Intelligent Cities team from July 2019 to June 2020, following their successful completion of the Edison Engineering Leadership Program. In this program, they gained experience in various roles including mechanical engineer and mechanical designer. Before GE, Jana had internships as a software developer at CAE in 2015 and as a mechanical engineering intern at Cascades in 2013.

Jana Ghalayini attended Concordia University from 2012 to 2017, where they received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they studied at the Cambridge University System - British School from 2007 to 2011, completing Advanced levels, Advanced Subsidiary levels, and IGCSE, though their field of study during this time is unknown.
