Lance Mueller

Lance Mueller is a seasoned professional in healthcare quality with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of Healthcare Quality at Ventra Health since February 2021, Lance leads the Ventra Quality Registry, a CMS designated qualified registry for MIPS reporting. Prior to this role, Lance was the Executive Director of the Palliative Care Quality Collaborative, where responsibilities included strategic direction, operations management, and stakeholder representation. As Manager of Healthcare Quality at the American Medical Association from January 2016 to September 2019, Lance focused on enhancing care delivery and supporting physician practices. Earlier, as AQI Director of Registries and Operations at the American Society of Anesthesiologists®, Lance guided the Anesthesia Quality Institute's growth significantly. Lance holds a Master's degree and Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics, along with a Master's Certificate from Northern Illinois University.
