Alex An is currently a PGY-2 Family Medicine resident at Ventura County Medical Center, affiliated with USC Keck School of Medicine, since June 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Professional in Dr. Joseph Wu's laboratory at Stanford University School of Medicine from September 2016 to June 2018, and serving as a Residence Hall Physics Tutor at UC Berkeley between August 2015 and July 2016. Alex also worked as a Research Assistant in the Paulson Laboratory at The Scripps Research Institute, focusing on immune regulation and Late-Onset Alzheimer's Disease from May 2013 to August 2015. Early experience includes an internship in Sports Medicine at Cal Athletics, supporting rehabilitation and care in athletics, as well as a work-study position as a Circulation Clerk at UC Berkeley's Hildebrand Library. Alex An holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
