Mario Pantoja has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Mario began their career as an HR/Production Intern at Hendrickson in 2008, where they completed an internship program focused on the manufacturing process. Mario then moved on to Kroger, starting as a Co-Manager and later progressing to roles such as Human Resources Trainee, Assistant Human Resources Manager, and ultimately Human Resources Manager. At Kroger, they partnered with employees and management to ensure compliance with employment regulations and communicated various policies and procedures. In 2015, they joined Nestlé Waters as a Human Resources Manager, where they developed and executed employee engagement programs and provided leadership in performance management and career development. Currently, Mario is working at Ventura Foods as the Director, Field Human Resources, leading the HR function for multiple US sites and serving as a business partner to key Manufacturing leaders. In this role, they drive talent, capability, and culture within the organization by implementing HR programs and services.
Mario Pantoja has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Management earned from Austin Peay State University, which they completed from 2005 to 2009. Mario then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management at the same university from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in March 2015 and the PHR certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in August 2010.
