Jonathan Mackay-Smith is a seasoned marine engineer with extensive experience in the offshore industry, holding positions from 2nd Engineer to 3rd Engineer and ERO across multiple companies. Currently, Jonathan serves at Ventura Petroleo S.A. on the SSV Catarina, where responsibilities include managing the planned maintenance system, maintaining engine room records, and conducting routine maintenance and repairs of machinery. Previous roles include positions with Sea Trucks Group and Adams Offshore, where Jonathan contributed to the operational efficiency and safety of engineering machinery. Jonathan's educational background includes MTD qualifications in Mechanics and Marine Engineering from institutions such as Aberdeen College and Grosvenor High School South Africa.
