Ann Bookman

Ann Bookman is a seasoned professional in the field of policy and research, currently serving as a Senior Fellow at UMass Boston's McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies since January 2020. Previously, Ann held the position of Director at the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy at the same institution from September 2013 to December 2018. Their extensive background includes serving as a Senior Research Scientist at the Heller School of Brandeis University and as Executive Director of the MIT Workplace Center. Ann's earlier roles include Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary and Special Studies at the College of the Holy Cross and Policy and Research Director at the Women's Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor. Ann holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social Anthropology from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Barnard College.
