Brooke Prochniak

Brooke is born and raised in New England, residing mostly in New Hampshire. She fell in love with accounting/finance through her technical high school program and has pursued roles in accounting since 2009. She received her B.S in Accounting at Bryant University in Rhode Island in 2015. After three years as a Finance Manager, at a startup, she went on to complete her MBA in Finance at Southern New Hampshire University. Joining Venture for America has allowed her to mesh her business skills with her philanthropic efforts.

She has spent 2 years living in Uganda, Africa, working with various NGO’s and she is currently in the process of aiding the building of a school in a local village. She continues to volunteer as a Strategic Partnership Manager at Saint Ann Foundation, while empowering local Ugandans to develop skills to improve their quality of life. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new countries, embracing new cultures and cuisines, plus reading from Reese Witherspoon’s book club list!
