Helio Monteiro

Helio Monteiro has a diverse work experience in the field of virtual design and construction. Helio started their career as an Intern Associate at StottBarrientos and Associates in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Building Information Modeling Intern at LDS Headquarters. Helio joined HENSEL PHELPS in 2013 and held various positions including Building Information Modeling Engineer, Office Engineer, and Lead Virtual Design & Construction Engineer. In 2019, they joined Venture General Contracting and served as a Virtual Design & Construction Manager before becoming the Director of Virtual Design & Construction in December 2020.

Helio Monteiro completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Construction Management from Brigham Young University - Idaho from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) in General Studies from the same university from 2007 to 2012. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained Procore Certified: Project Manager (Core Tools) from Procore Technologies in October 2019.
