Li Wang

Li Wang is an accomplished scientific professional currently serving as a Principal Investigator at Ventus Therapeutics since November 2019, focusing on crystallography, cryo-EM, structure-based drug design (SBDD), and immune-driven diseases. Previously, Li held the position of Principal Scientist at the same company and served as a Senior Scientist and project leader in small molecule drug discovery at SMOC Therapeutics from January 2018 to November 2019. From November 2013 to December 2017, Li worked as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, specializing in structural immunology and inflammasome activation. Li's career began at Novartis as part of the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research from January 2010 to November 2013, focusing on drug discovery. Li holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from the University of Science and Technology of China.
