Pete Distad

Pete Distad currently serves as CEO of Venu Sports, a new sports streaming service supported by major industry players Fox, Disney, and Warner Bros Discovery. Distad has extensive experience in the media sector, having spent nearly a decade at Apple, where Pete led global teams in video, sports, and distribution operations. Prior to Apple, Distad held leadership roles at Hulu, where responsibilities included marketing and subscriber acquisition, and at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant. Early career experience includes positions at Calence and Andersen Consulting, alongside a BBA in Management Information Systems and Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Distad also plays a significant role as a board member for CoachArt, a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses through arts and athletics lessons.
