Arnab Roy

Arnab Roy has a diverse work experience in the aerospace and engineering industry. Arnab is currently working as a Principle Manufacturing Engineer at Venus Aerospace since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at San Jacinto College from January 2022 to February 2023.

From 2016 to January 2023, Arnab worked at Intuitive Machines in various roles. Arnab served as a Flight Vehicle Integration Lead, where they were involved in advanced composite research and manufacturing, additive manufacturing development, and GSE design and analysis for the NOVA-C Lunar Lander project. Arnab also set up the manufacturing facility and processes for the NOVA-C vehicle assembly, and expanded the manufacturing capabilities of the company.

Before joining Intuitive Machines, Arnab worked at Bell Helicopter as a Fatigue and Fracture Analyst from June 2013 to October 2016. Arnab also gained experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Penn State University from January 2011 to February 2013, and as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Phoenix Contact in May to August 2011.

Arnab's early career included roles such as a Design Engineer at Next Step Robotics, where they worked on medical device redesign, and an Axiom Space Station Architecture Design Engineer, where they contributed to the preliminary architecture design of the space station's modules.

Arnab Roy has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and business administration. Arnab earned their High School Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Towson High School in 2009. Arnab then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Penn State University from 2009 to 2013. Following that, Arnab completed their Master's Degree with a focus on Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University between 2015 and 2018. Continuing their educational journey, Arnab attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2016 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General. By combining their engineering expertise with their business acumen, Arnab has developed a well-rounded education that equips him for various professional opportunities.
