Hemanth Varghese

Hemanth Varghese, PhD, CFA, is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer at Venus Concept since October 2022, Hemanth previously held the role of Chief Innovation & Business Officer. Prior to this, Hemanth was Senior Vice President of Strategy & Operations at HLS Therapeutics Inc. from September 2017 to October 2022, and held senior roles at Endo Pharmaceuticals, Bausch & Lomb, Valeant Pharmaceuticals, Biovail, JovInvestment Management, and Robarts Research Institute. Hemanth holds a PhD and a BSc in Medical Biophysics from Western University, illustrating a strong academic foundation combined with a robust career in corporate development, strategic planning, and business innovation within the medical field.
