Matt Akers

Matt Akers is a seasoned human resources professional currently serving as Head of People at Veo since January 2024. Prior to this role, Matt held multiple senior positions at Gopuff from July 2021 to January 2024, including Sr Director of People & Culture, where responsibilities encompassed global talent acquisition, total rewards, and workforce strategy. Matt's extensive experience also includes key roles at Amazon, Target, Lowe's Companies, Inc., and Universal Technical Institute, with a focus on human resources management and strategic planning. Matt earned a degree in Human Resource Management from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, where studies were completed between 2010 and 2013.
