Pieter Vancraeyveld

Pieter Vancraeyveld is currently the Director of Platform Engineering at Veo Technologies, a position held since February 2025. Prior to this role, Pieter served as the Director of Engineering and Head of Platform & Operations at Corti from December 2020 to January 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing backend engineering, VoIP integration, and platform architecture. Pieter's experience also includes serving as R&D Manager at Synopsys Inc from September 2017 to November 2020, focusing on high-performance computing, and as a Scientific Software Specialist at QuantumWise A/S from December 2013 to September 2017, enhancing performance through C++ and Python development. Additionally, Pieter held a post-doctoral research position at the Technical University of Denmark and worked as a researcher at Ghent University, contributing to various projects and collaborations in the fields of physics and engineering. Pieter holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Ghent University and an M.Sc. in Physics from the same institution.
