Mark Demski has extensive work experience in emergency management and client services. Mark currently works at Veoci as the Government Vertical Sales Team Leader and Senior Account Executive. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Client Services Manager at Intermedix from 2012 to 2017. Mark also held the position of Assistant Director - Operations at the Maryland Emergency Management Agency from 2011 to 2012, where they directed and coordinated various emergency operations. Before that, they worked at the Baltimore County Fire Department for over 25 years, where they held the position of Emergency Manager/Lieutenant/Paramedic/Firefighter and played a key role in implementing the National Incident Management System. Mark started their career as a Deputy Sheriff at the Harford County Sheriffs Department in 1980.
Mark Demski, CEM, NRP has an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies, which they obtained from Harford Community College from 1977 to 1979. In 2004, they attended the Emergency Management Institute for a period of five years, until 2009, but they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) awarded by IAEM in March 2009, Fire Service Instructor awarded by the Maryland Instructor Certification Board in June 1991, and EMT-Paramedic awarded by the National Registry of EMT in February 1989.
