Matias Navarro has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matias began their career as a Project Control Intern at Techint Engineering & Construction in 2004. In 2005, Matias worked as a Research Analyst at Grupo Edisur, where they were responsible for planning and analysis in support of land acquisition for residential housing development.

Matias then joined Urbaser in 2007 as a Construction Site Manager, overseeing the Material Recovery Facility project in Huesca, Spain. Matias managed daily planning, client relations, budget control, and contract management.

In 2009, Matias joined Veolia Water Technologies as a System Handover Engineer for the Shell Pearl gas to liquids (GTL) project. Matias successfully managed an international team and implemented a web app to streamline certification and reporting processes, leading to on-time project delivery.

Matias continued their journey at Veolia Water Technologies, taking on roles such as Technical Sales Engineer/Bid Writer and Manager of Proposal Development. Matias also played a key role in developing growth strategies, authoring research notes and press releases, and positioning the brand for increased lead generation through digital marketing campaigns.

Most recently, Matias held the position of Director of Business Development at Veolia Water Technologies. Matias was responsible for the development and deployment of the go-to-market strategy for a new product portfolio in the Americas region. Matias defined channel strategies, coordinated marketing and communication plans, and achieved recurring revenue targets.
