Ben Heaslip

Ben Heaslip possesses extensive experience in wastewater treatment plant operations, currently serving as Plant Manager at Veolia since April 2018, overseeing the WWTP MSD Biotech in Swords, Co. Dublin. Prior to this, Ben managed a sludge treatment plant at Veolia Water Ireland, processing an average of 8000m3 of sludge daily. Ben's career includes a role as Acting Plant Manager at Response Engineering, where responsibilities included overseeing a plant operator and managing multiple facilities during a major upgrade. Ben's foundational experience as a Senior Operator involved maintenance and operational management across wastewater treatment plants in Carlow and Kilkenny, as well as single-handedly managing five plants in Sligo. Ben holds a BSc Degree in Environmental Management from Sligo Institute of Technology.
