Lieve Tschappat

Lieve Tschappat serves as a Director at Veoneer since April 2018, overseeing processors and software related to radar, RCS, vision, in-cabin sensing, and ADAS. Previously, Lieve held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Ford, focusing on restraint control modules and leading design teams through successful product launches. With extensive experience at Autoliv Electronics since 2011, Lieve has held roles including Global Design Leader for Passive Safety Electronics, responsible for global design aspects of restraint control modules, and has led software and hardware development efforts. Earlier career positions include current model engineer and restraint electronics application engineer at Autoliv Electronics, and various roles at Ford Motor Company, including AVBOM Supervisor and Restraints Design & Release Engineer. Academic qualifications include a Baccalaureat in Business Economics from KUL and a degree in Electrical Engineering from KIHL.
