Clara Duchalet

CEO & Co-Founder at Vépluche

Clara Duchalet has a diverse work experience. In 2015, they worked as a Storyteller and Products Competitiveness Analyst at Airbus Defence and Space Geo-Intelligence, where they created case studies. In 2016, they were an Assistant Project Manager at the Institut français Italia, contributing to cultural events and promoting French language and culture in Italy. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Mentee of the Women4Climate mentorship program at C40 Cities, selected for their startup project Vépluche, aimed at collecting and transforming organic waste. Clara also worked as an Events Project Manager at the Ministère de l'Environnement for a short period in 2017. In the same year, they were a Food Waste Project Manager at PHENIX, where they reduced food waste in supermarkets and built relations with food charities. From 2018, they founded and served as the CEO & Co-Founder of Vépluche, an organization that collects organic waste and produces natural soil. Clara joined Réseau Entreprendre Paris as a Member in 2019 and became a Board Member at Usedat in 2022.

Clara Duchalet began their education in 2008 at Lycée Pierre-Marie Théas, where they obtained their Baccalaureate in Literature and Philosophy in 2011. Clara then attended Sciences Po from 2011 to 2014, earning their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government. In 2013, Clara Duchalet had an exchange year abroad at Pitzer College, focusing on International Relations. Clara further pursued their education at Sciences Po from 2014 to 2017, completing a Master's degree in European Affairs.
