Ba/Mscj Malcolm Walker

Malcolm Walker holds a BA in Forensic Psychology and an MSc in Criminal Justice from St. Ambrose University. Currently serving as a Corrections Liaison at Vera French Community Mental Health Center since June 2022, Malcolm collaborates with the court system to provide mental health services aimed at reducing jail time for individuals with mental illness and decreasing re-incarceration rates. Previously, Malcolm was a Multisystemic Therapist, focusing on at-risk youth and families, and has also gained experience as a Direct Support Staff, Work Study Student, and intern within educational and community settings. Additional work experience includes roles in customer service at The Home Depot, Channahon General Rental, and Joliet Town and Country Lanes.
