Brian Tashman

Brian Tashman currently serves as the Deputy Director of Vera Action at the Vera Institute of Justice, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Tashman has held multiple roles at the ACLU since June 2017, including Deputy Director of the Equality Division and Senior Campaign Strategist. Tashman's extensive experience in political research and strategy began with People For the American Way, where roles ranged from Senior Research Analyst to Political Assistant from June 2010 to June 2017. Earlier internships include positions at various organizations such as Friends of Mike Gerber, the PA House Democratic Campaign Committee, and Hillary Clinton for President, among others. Tashman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Religious Studies from Haverford College in 2010.
