Jacquelyn Pavilon is an accomplished economist and researcher with a diverse career spanning various organizations and roles. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Research at the Vera Institute of Justice since February 2023, Jacquelyn previously held the position of Deputy Director at the Center for Migration Studies of New York from January 2021 to December 2022. Extensive experience as a Research Consultant at the World Bank Group from April 2018 to June 2022 includes involvement in significant projects focused on migration and human capital. Jacquelyn also worked as a PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University, researching forced migration policy and labor market impacts. Other notable positions include International Communications Coordinator at the Jesuit Refugee Service and Math Test Engineer at WMS Gaming. Jacquelyn holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Georgetown University and a B.A./B.S. from Loyola University Chicago.
