Amita Hurbans

Amita Hurbans is the Resource Manager at Vera Solutions. Amita has over fifteen years of experience in Human Resources, specialising in Performance Management, Leadership Development, Graduate Programme Management, Employee Engagement, and Training and Development.

Amita started their career as an Organisational Performance Consultant at A.P. Moller - Maersk where they were responsible for driving transformation and performance in 9 African countries. In this role, they managed and executed key HR processes, such as performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement. Amita also initiated and oversaw the implementation of the company's SAP-based performance management module.

In 2016, Amita joined TFG (The Foschini Group) as a Benefits Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for administering TFG's employee benefits programmes, including health insurance, retirement planning, and education assistance. Amita also provided support to employees and managers on the interpretation and application of benefits rules and regulations.

Amita Hurbans has a postgraduate degree in project management for strategic advantage from Stellenbosch Business School, and a bachelor's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Their manager is Sam Gordon, COO. They are on a team with Isabella Hamilton Russell - Business Development Manager, Karina Coetzee - Senior Global Operations Associate, and Rory Mc Lean - Business Development Manager.
