Robert Rhame

Robert Rhame is currently the Head of Market Intelligence at Veracode since January 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Market Intelligence at Rubrik, Inc. from July 2018 to March 2021. Robert also worked as a Research Director at Gartner from February 2015 to July 2018. Before that, they served as the Regional Pre-Sales Manager DACH at AlgoSec from September 2012 to January 2015. Additionally, they worked as an executive advisory board member and technical and security advisor at xMillion Capital from December 2010 to September 2012. Robert also had engineering roles at Openwater Software with Siemens Enterprise, EMC, OTG Software, and Datastream Systems.

Robert Rhame attended the University of South Carolina from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their major was English, and they minored in German. In 1989, they completed the Grundstufe Zwei level at the Goethe-Institut Rothenburg odT. After completing their undergraduate studies, Robert attended Boston University for Systems Engineering in 1998-1999 but did not obtain a degree. Robert further pursued their education at Benedict Munich in 2000, studying Wirtschaftssprache, and at Inlingua in the same year, also focusing on Wirtschaftssprache. Robert obtained their high school diploma from Madeira High School from 1984 to 1988. Recently, in 2021-2022, Robert studied Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance at New Horizons München. Robert has also acquired several certifications including Cybersecurity Advanced from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)², Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation from EXIN, ITIL 4 Foundation CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in 1999.
