Shivani Nachane

Shivani Nachane has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering and academia. Shivani worked as a Software Verification Engineer at Veracyte, Inc. from April 2023 to the present. Prior to that, they were an Engineer at THINK Surgical, employed by Qualitest, from January 2022 to March 2023. Shivani also had a brief stint as a Lecturer at San Jose State University from February to August 2022.

Shivani'searlier experiences include a Design Engineering Internship at Transonic Systems Inc. from May to December 2021 and roles as a Graduate Teaching Associate and Graduate Research Assistant at San Jose State University. As a Graduate Research Assistant, Shivani worked on projects in the domain of Cardiovascular Fluid Mechanics under the guidance of Dr. Alessandro Bellofiore. Shivani gained hands-on experience with various techniques and software such as Optical PIV, Solidworks, Lagrangian Tracking, Lumped Parameter Model, and CFD Modeling.

In 2021, Shivani also worked as a Regulatory Engineering Intern at Medical Device Academy, Inc. Shivani'searliest work experience was as an Embedded Systems Engineer at IDEMI from July 2018 to June 2019.

Shivani Nachane completed their Master of Science (MS) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from San Jose State University, from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Biomedical/Medical Electronics from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai, from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, Shivani has also received several certifications including Agile Foundations and Learning Jira Software from LinkedIn, obtained in May 2021. Shivani also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Mechatronics NSQF Level-8 from IDEMI, obtained in September 2019, as well as an Advanced Embedded Technology certification from IDEMI, obtained in November 2017.
