Shawn Josey

Shawn Josey has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Head of Product Development at Verafin since November 2021. Shawn previously worked at Verafin as a Product Manager from March 2018 to November 2021, and as a Software Engineer from February 2014 to March 2018.

Before joining Verafin, Shawn worked at Compusult Ltd. as a Software Developer from April 2011 to February 2014. In this role, they assisted in the design and implementation of a cross-platform framework for mobile applications and developed various applications using this framework, including GoMobile and a web-based client for geospatial data.

Shawn also gained experience during their time as a Software Developer Co-op at Memorial University in 2010, where they developed an Eclipse plugin for mathematical document creation and editing. Shawn also worked as a Software Development Co-op at Virtual Marine Technology in early 2010, focusing on software development for the Free Fall Life Boat simulation project. Lastly, they had a software development co-op role at the AIF Small Craft Simulation Project in 2009.
