Bear Altemus

Bear Altemus serves as a Senior Manager of Strategy & Operations at VerAleo Capital Partners, overseeing product discovery and go-to-market strategies for new product launches while optimizing revenue and cost-efficiency. Previous roles include Manager of Strategy & Operations at VerAleo, where efforts focused on sourcing sales technology, and Product specialist at Rize Education, responsible for developing online learning courses. At Georgetown Preparatory School, Bear began a career managing school operations and technology while also teaching social studies. Co-founder of WholeU Learning, which combines science curriculum with social-emotional learning, Bear has also provided academic coaching at Private Prep and founded Griffin Home and Lawn, a service-oriented B-Corp. Educational background includes an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.Ed from the University of Virginia, along with Expedition Leadership Certification from NOLS.
