Kenneth Jones

Kenneth Jones has over 15 years of experience in the technology field. Kenneth began their career in 2006 as the Director of Technology at airvana, where they were responsible for hardware and software architecture of UMTS femtocells with an emphasis on low-cost implementation. In 2011, they joined Texas Instruments as the CTO Small Cells, where they worked on system design and software for small cell base station SoCs. In 2015, they became a self-employed Digital Signal Processing Consultant, providing expertise in software, hardware and system design for wireless and wire line communications systems, voice processing and media compression. In 2016, they joined OneView Controls, Inc. as a Consulting Hardware and Software Engineer. Kenneth then moved to Collision Communications in 2017 as a Principal Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Verana Networks as the Director of Technology 5G Products.

Kenneth Jones attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1972 to 1976, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Kenneth then continued their studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1977 to 1979, where they earned a Master of Science in Physics.
