Apurva Bendre

Apurva Bendre's work experience begins in 2012 as an Intern at Volkswagen India. They then worked as a Project Trainee at Jai Polyforms. In 2013, they became a Design Engineer Trainee at Atlas Copco, followed by an Industrial Engineer role at the same company in 2014. From 2017 to 2018, Apurva worked as a Process Improvement Intern at Thermo Fisher Scientific. They then joined Johnson Matthey in 2018, starting as a Continuous Improvement Engineer and later becoming a Project Manager. At Johnson Matthey, they successfully managed a $30M project and collaborated with a team to deliver a $33M project while driving process improvements and achieving cost savings. In 2023, Apurva will start a new role as a Project Manager II at Veranova.

Apurva Bendre's education history includes a Project Management Program at Penn State University from 2019 to 2020, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University at Buffalo. Their undergraduate education was completed at Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Production Engineering.

In addition to their academic achievements, Apurva Bendre has obtained various certifications. They became an IATF 16949 Lead Auditor through Plexus International in September 2021. In September 2019, they earned the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from SJM Engineering Associates Limited. Apurva Bendre also achieved the Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in November 2018. Furthermore, they obtained the Ready Engineer certification from Tata Technologies in June 2013. Lastly, they became an IATF 16949 Supplier Auditor through AIAG - Automotive Industry Action Group in September 2021.
