Gemma H. has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Gemma started their career in 2008 as a Software Developer at Dataphiles Ltd, where they developed database and web systems for various sectors. Gemma also worked as a Finance Assistant at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council before moving on to work as a Database Administrator at Meridian Advice Limited.

In 2010, Gemma set up their own business, GHG Design, specializing in web design and development. Gemma handled tasks such as market research, sales and marketing, and financial management. Gemma provided comprehensive web solutions to clients, including website and graphic design, search engine optimization, and domain registration.

Gemma transitioned to the role of Graduate Manager at PD Ports in 2010, where they successfully delivered a market-leading Terminal Operating System within the Unitised division. Gemma also focused on analyzing business processes, implementing cultural change, and developing standard operating procedures. Gemma later became a Project Manager and Business Process Analyst, overseeing continuous improvement programs and performance improvement projects across the company's operations.

In 2016, Gemma joined Northgate plc as a Business Change Lead, responsible for leading a business transformation project and ensuring successful implementation of core business applications. Gemma also served as a Business Analyst Manager, leading a team and preparing the organization for a comprehensive end-to-end business transformation program. Gemma worked closely with stakeholders and implemented changes to optimize processes and improve organizational structure.

Gemma's most recent role was as a Lead Business Analyst at Survitec Group Ltd. Here, they were involved in the implementation of Salesforce for a Global Digital End-to-End Programme. Gemma led multiple workstreams, facilitated requirement workshops, and produced complex workflow diagrams. Gemma utilized Azure DevOps and Confluence for project documentation and management.

In 2019, Gemma joined 80Hg Limited as a Director, overseeing the operations of the company. Gemma also took maternity leave during this time.

Currently, Gemma works as a Lead Digital Business Analyst at Verastar.

Gemma H. started their education in 2004 at Durham Sixth Form Centre, where they pursued 3 A-Levels. In 2006, they joined Leeds Beckett University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Information Technology Management for Business in 2010. Later, Gemma enrolled at Teesside University from 2015 to 2017, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Executive degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Gemma also obtained additional certifications including a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Teesside University in December 2017. Gemma also holds certifications in PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner from APM Group, N4 Billing, XPS Administration, XPS Advanced Modules, Business Process Management Notation from IT Development (UK) Ltd, SPARCS N4, and SPARCS XPS from Navis.
