Sumayyah Saber Barakat

Sumayyah Saber Barakat is an experienced curriculum developer and educator specializing in Arabic language instruction. Currently serving as a Curriculum Developer at IQRA network since October 2017, Barakat has held various teaching roles including Online Arabic teacher at Verbling and Al Quran academy, as well as Arabic teacher for non-native speakers at sufraa al-hidaiaa. Additional experience includes teaching Arabic and Quran online at Kottaab Online and teaching Arabic and Calligraphy at Al Kamal Language Institute. Barakat's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language from the Islamic University of Minnesota and ongoing studies for a Master of Arts in Education at Liverpool John Moores University. With a Bachelor's and other qualifications from Al-Azhar University, Barakat is well-equipped in the field of Arabic language education.
