Jeff Gordon

Jeff Gordon has extensive experience in the field of network security and engineering. Jeff currently works as a Senior Information Security Engineer at Neustar Security Services since December 2021. Prior to this, they held a similar role at Neustar, Inc. from January 2021 to December 2021.

Jeff's previous experience includes working as a Network Security Engineer at Arbor Networks, the security division of NETSCOUT, from March 2016 to December 2020. Before that, they worked as a Senior Network Consultant at JG Gordon Consulting from December 2015 to March 2016.

Jeff also has experience as a Senior Network Engineer at Vencore Inc. from March 2009 to December 2015, where they successfully completed multiple site consolidations and implemented Identity Based Network Security using Cisco ACS and 802.

Jeff has worked as a Network Consultant at Binary Group, Inc. from 2008 to 2009, and Nexius Wireless as a contractor in 2008. Jeff also served as a Principle Network Engineer at GDIT-GENERAL DYNAMICS Information Technology from August 2007 to March 2008, where they maintained national internet gateways and supported the largest Federal Government network.

Earlier in their career, Jeff worked as a Senior Network Administrator at Arvato Print from June 2002 to June 2007, where they led a team of Network Administrators and was responsible for project management and helpdesk support. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Network Engineer at DSL DATA SERVICES, LLC from 1998 to 2002.

Jeff Gordon earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Maryland University College in 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2000 to 2004. In terms of certifications, they obtained Cisco Certified Network Associate Security, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Network Professional, and Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician certifications from Cisco in 2015. Additionally, they obtained ITIL V3 certification from ITSM Academy and LAN Cabling Systems certification from Technology Standards Group. Jeff also holds certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, as well as a Windows Server 2003 Certified Professional certification from Learning Tree International.
