Sean Massa

Sean Massa has a diverse work experience in the software development industry. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Software Engineer at Takumi Capital, where they created a platform for streaming and visualizing real-time stock data. Sean then joined Sonoma Partners as a Software Engineer and later became an Internal Software Engineer. At Groupon, they held the role of Software Engineer and formed and led various teams, including UI Engineering, Engineering Voice, and Community. Sean then worked at Popular Pays as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on standardizing project processes and code quality. At JPMorgan Chase & Co., they served as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer, contributing to an internal framework team and ensuring web accessibility. Later, they joined ActiveCampaign as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer, where they helped standardize architectural decisions through the Architecture Guild. Sean then served as the CTO at FlashRecruit, where they managed recruiting and project management processes. In 2021, they started their own company, Sean Massa, LLC, offering software development, organizational development, and project management services. Currently, they are working at Talent Inc. as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer, integrating the FlashRecruit technology into their systems. In 2022, they joined Vercel as a Team Lead, Manager, and Senior Software Engineer.

Sean Massa attended Illinois State University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
